Propeller is looking for an experienced Events & Social Specialist to support a portfolio of agency, adtech and marketing clients. This role is suited to someone highly organised, confident with clients and experienced in delivering events and social content programmes.
The Events & Social Specialist is responsible for planning, delivering and optimising client events and LinkedIn-led social programmes. Working across a number of clients, they manage day-to-day activity on events, social calendars and campaign execution, ensuring high-quality delivery, strong client communication and measurable impact.
Responsibilities
Events Management
- Planning and delivering webinars, virtual events, roundtables, fringe activations and in-person client events.
- Managing logistics, invitations, RSVP processes, guest communications and partner coordination.
- Creating event campaigns including landing pages, email sequences, promotional content and follow-up workflows.
- Ensuring HubSpot workflows and data capture are set up correctly.
- Providing detailed event performance reporting including attendance, engagement and lead quality.
Social Media Management (LinkedIn-first)
- Owning LinkedIn content calendars, posting schedules and channel operations.
- Drafting social copy and coordinating with the Content team on supporting assets.
- Advising clients on LinkedIn best practice and content optimisation.
- Community management including monitoring comments, responding where appropriate and strengthening client presence.
- Supporting other platforms (e.g. X, Instagram, TikTok) when relevant to client strategy.
Client & Programme Management
- Running weekly client calls and ensuring strong communication across all stakeholders.
- Developing social and event recommendations with the Account Director.
- Supporting reporting, planning and continuous optimisation of client programmes.
Internal Collaboration
- Briefing designers or content specialists on materials for events and social.
- Sharing insights and best practice across the Growth Marketing team.
Duties
- Co-ordinating client onboarding for social and event programmes.
- Managing project timelines, trackers and internal communication.
- Supporting upsell opportunities across content, PR, HubSpot and event production.
- Adhering to Propeller Group’s policies, processes and quality standards.
- Undertaking other duties as required by your line manager.
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in event planning and delivery.
- Excellent writing skills for short-form social copy.
- Deep understanding of LinkedIn as a B2B platform.
- Competence in HubSpot (training available), Google Workspace and basic analytics.
- Strong project management capability.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator and relationship builder.
- Proactive problem solver who remains calm under pressure.
- Team player and strong collaborator.
