U.S. PR INTERN

Permanent
New York

We’re looking for a PR intern who wants to gain hands-on experience in media and communications. This role is more than just observation—you’ll be actively involved in accounts, supporting client work, helping with day-to-day processes, and developing a deep understanding of how PR operates within the advertising and marketing industry.

We are a UK-based PR agency with a growing presence in the U.S.—our New York team was established four years ago and has since grown to ten people (fully remote). This intern will be the eleventh member, joining a highly collaborative and tight-knit team working with ad agencies, creative shops, design firms, branding studios, marketing consultancies, social media agencies, and ad tech companies—essentially, the businesses shaping the advertising and marketing landscape.

We work closely with a range of publications—from ad trades like Ad Age and Adweek to major business and media outlets like The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, and Business Insider—as well as key industry events like Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, CES, SXSW, and Advertising Week New York to help position our clients at the center of industry conversations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Client Relations & Account Work – Participate in client calls, track action items, and help ensure smooth communication and execution.
  • Media Relations & Research – Support media outreach, track press opportunities, and develop a foundational understanding of PR strategy.
  • Writing & Messaging – Draft press materials, client updates, and other communications with clarity and impact.
  • Industry Immersion – Gain exposure to the agency landscape, industry trends, and the role of PR in shaping brand narratives.
What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong Writing Skills – You don’t need a background in PR, but you should understand how to structure a sentence, adjust tone for impact, and communicate ideas effectively.
  • High EQ & Presence – Someone who can engage in conversation, adapt to different audiences, and bring confidence and personality to interactions.
  • Curiosity & Awareness – The ability to actively listen, absorb new information, and ask thoughtful questions.
  • Interest in Advertising & Culture – Whether it’s branding, media, or the way brands engage with consumers, you should have a natural curiosity about the space.

This internship is an opportunity to learn by doing—building a strong foundation in PR, client relations, and media strategy within a fast-moving, international agency. If this sounds like a fit, we’d love to hear from you.
