Outvertising Live returned this week for its fourth year, bringing together more than 200 marketers at Curzon Soho for an afternoon focused on building a more inclusive advertising industry. The event continues to play an important role in encouraging brands and agencies to treat LGBTQIA+ inclusion as consistent practice rather than occasional visibility.
We were pleased to attend and support the programme, which delivered a mix of keynotes, panel conversations and case studies centred on authentic representation. Industry leaders and emerging queer talent shared practical ways to embed inclusion into creative development, workplace culture and long-term strategy.
A special mention goes to Ant Leeds, our Head of Global Accounts and Outvertising Communications Co-Director, and the entire Outvertising team. Their work in creating spaces like this helps move the industry towards more inclusive, more considered representation.
The Advocacy Playbook
Alongside the event, Outvertising continues to champion The Advocacy Playbook, a comprehensive resource created with The Conscious Advertising Network. The Playbook offers evidence, tools and best practices for anyone looking to advance LGBTQIA+ inclusion across the marketing ecosystem. It covers:
- How organisations can create the foundations for inclusive cultures, from policy assessment to recruitment, retention and active allyship.
- How individuals across all disciplines, from strategy and creative to finance and leadership, can produce work that reflects the diverse experiences within the LGBTQIA+ community.
It serves as a practical guide for advocates and allies who want to build equity into both their workplaces and their work.
Keeping Inclusion Front and Centre
Outvertising Live showed how much progress the industry can make when conversations are rooted in evidence, collaboration and real experiences. As brands look ahead to 2026 and beyond, events like this underline the importance of planning for inclusion at every stage of the creative and strategic process.
Propeller is committed to supporting work that moves the sector forward, and Outvertising Live remains a powerful reminder of why representation matters, and how we can all play a role in improving it.
