Tea and top tech trends in latest BIMA Breakfast Briefing

We were delighted to help host BIMA’s final Breakfast Briefing of 2017, discussing all things AI and VR with a very talented panel of experts including Luciana Carvalho-Se, Business Development & Partnership at REWIND, Guy Armitage, CEO of Zealous, Matt Bush, Director of Agencies at Google UK and Karen Boswell, Head of Innovations at adamandeveDDB, and led by our very own Head of Media and Marketing, Ben Titchmarsh.

Addressing a full room at The Ivy, the panellists discussed the rapid rate of AI start-ups across the globe, whether VR can bring us closer together and work for good. Bush explained the not-so-distant-future of assisted tech with the end goal for machines being to understand 100% of human speech (5% more than humans do…) and each panellist speculated on the top tech trends that shape 2018.

Although it was a brief exploration into the potential of AI and VR, our speakers concluded that that the future of AI and VR is accelerating exponentially and if you refuse to develop an understanding of these technologies you will most likely lose out.
